A signature feature of Panerai watches, including the Submersible, is the patented crown guard, a lever-locking system that protects the winding crown. As a diver's watch, the Submersible features a uni-directional rotating bezel used to track dive time. The bezel usually has a distinct notched design for easy gripping. he hands, indices, and bezel markings are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions.
The Submersible line is designed for professional diving and typically offers water resistance up to 300 meters (30 bar), making it suitable for underwater exploration.
