Fusing Italian origin with Swiss watchmaking, the Officine Panerai brand is a household name in the luxury wristwatch industry. The Panerai Luminor range reflects the Brand’s heritage and iconic design. Characterised by its patented crown protecting device and diverse range of designs, the Luminor collection offers a watch for every taste and style. 

For most of the 20th century, Panerai watches were only available to military forces as an official supplier of the Royal Italian Navy. After being asked by the Navy to develop a watch that was able to withstand extreme conditions and be read underwater for the First Submarine Group Command, Panerai created the first prototypes of the Luminor watch. It was only in 1993 that Panerai unveiled the Luminor watch to the public, using designs from the original military-grade watch. 

The Panerai Luminor range encompasses several iconic elements including a cushion-shaped case, a large crown guard and Panerai invented sandwich dial that aids in providing legibility even in dark lighting. Within the collection, there are several designs and styles to choose from, including a variety of dial colours, sizes and materials like stainless steel, titanium, and ceramic alongside their proprietary alloys like CarboTech.
