To bear the prestigious "Glashütte" designation on its dial, a watch must have at least 50% of its caliber's value generated within this historic Saxon town. NOMOS Glashütte far exceeds this strict regional standard, producing up to 95% of its movement components entirely in-house.
From the exquisitely decorated, reliable manual-winding Alpha caliber to the ultra-thin, automatic Neomatik (DUW series) movements,equipped with their proprietary escapement, the NOMOS swing system—the brand stands as a truly authentic, independent manufacture.

Breaking the Mould
In 2014, NOMOS Glashütte sent shockwaves through the watchmaking industry with the introduction of the NOMOS Swing System. After seven years of rigorous research and development in collaboration with the Technical University of Dresden, the brand successfully engineered its own proprietary escapement. Recognisable by its stunning tempered blue balance spring, this milestone broke a long-standing Swiss monopoly and secured complete independence for the Saxon manufacture.
This mechanical excellence is matched only by their aesthetic achievements. NOMOS has received over 160 international design awards, including the prestigious iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).
