Cartier Tank Américaine Watches

The Cartier Tank Americaine is an excellent example of the techniques of watchmaking evolving. Compared to the other Cartier Tank models before it, the Cartier Tank Americaine uses a more elongated but also curved case that hugs the wrist. This curvature alongside the longer dial creates a thinner case in terms of width creating a very understated but supremely luxurious timepiece. As the Cartier Tank Anglaise model has evolved, the watches have become larger thus showcasing the curves even more, especially the contrast between the polished bezel and beautifully satin finished sides. Given the popularity of the Cartier Tank collection over the years, the Tank Americaine model has become a firm favourite with its slightly more eccentric design.
