The Reverso Tribute Small Seconds continues the story of colour that began in the early years of Reverso, when this icon was adopted beyond the polo fields. More contemporary than ever, the sunbrushed dial’s variations create a contrast with the clean symmetry of the Reverso design.
Continually reinvented without compromising its essence, the codes of the 1931 Reverso remain unchanged: gadroons, applied indexes … Their faceted shape echoes the form of the Dauphine hands and adds visual depth to the subtle silver sunrayed-dial which is a discreet elegant foil for the rich golden glow of the metal.
This timepiece achieves a rectangular refinement thanks to its 7,56 mm thickness case. Highly ergonomic, the complex slide-and-swivel mechanism - composed of more than 50 components -, follows the natural curve of the wrist. This 90 years old mechanism is crafted to perfection, even the inside of the cradle is sublimated with a sunray engraving.
This Reverso is paired with two matching straps: a designed Fagliano canvas-and-calf strap - evoking the exclusive world of polo - and a black alligator strap for a more formal look, creating a strong sense of style that underlines the timeless modernity of the Reverso design.
With an elegant simplicity, hours and minutes are indicated by dauphine hands while on the lower half of the dial, the circular track of the small seconds display – pure expression of its mechanical movement - provides a counterpoint to the linear geometry of the dial and case.
