Within the established Luminor silhouette, Carbotech™ brings Panerai’s material research to the fore. Long carbon-fibre layers, pressed with PEEK, form a case that is light, durable and resistant to corrosion. As each fibre layer is set at a different angle, it creates wave-like markings that make every case visually distinct.
The matte black sandwich dial revisits Panerai’s historic tool watches, where contrast and legibility came first. Beige Super-LumiNova® delivers a warmer vintage tone by day and glows green in the dark. With no date display - expressing an essential design yet an historical inspiration - its small seconds at 9 o’clock preserves a functional cue: a quick indication that the watch is running.
Six millimeters thick and comprising 200 components, P.9010 is Panerai’s automatic caliber, built for daily reliability. Two series-connected barrels deliver a 3 Days power reserve, while two reversing wheels convert wrist motion into energy. The stop-seconds function enables exact setting, and the hour hand adjusts in one-hour increments without interrupting the movement.
Water resistant up to 30 bar (~300 meters), a significant achievement for the vintage inspired construction, the PAM01707 embodies Panerai’s unwavering dedication to vigorous water resistance, a legacy stemming from its origins as a supplier of diving instruments for the Italian Navy. Tested plus 25% through a multi-stage water resistance verification, it ensures dependable performance in demanding environments.
