Setting a benchmark in fine watchmaking, this collection reinterprets the emblematic round shape of wristwatches that was so popular in the 1950s.
At the heart of the Master Control Date, mechanical prowess and aesthetic understatement go hand in hand. To offer 70 hours of power reserve to this unique stainless steel model, the watchmakers of the Manufacture have optimized the performance of its caliber, notably through a new barrel design, new forms of lubrication, a new adjustment of the second hand, not to mention the silicon escapement (a first) which significantly reduces friction. On the reverse of the watch, the components of this new generation movement are revealed under a transparent sapphire crystal case-back.
With its velvety, extremely comfortable texture, the new Novonappa® calfskin strap highlights the contemporary lines of the Master Control Date, while bringing with it a vintage touch. This top-of-the-range leather in natural tones which reveals a patina over time also highlights the legibility of the sunrayed silver dial. Among this understated decoration, the date aperture stands out at 3 o'clock. The beautiful stainless steel case (40 mm) highlights the refined elegance of the Master Control Date.
