Not just the pinnacle of watch making but the most famous Breguet invention; the Tourbillon. In its truest form, the hand wound Tourbillon is designed to mitigate the effect of gravity on the escapement. 

However, in a movement powered by a manual wind, as the spring winds down from its full power, there will naturally be a lesser extertion of power to the movement and Tourbillon by extension. 

A Fusee Chain escapement in its simplest form is designed to provide a constant source of power to the movement until the power reserve is expended thus ensuring the watch can be at its most accurate. 

Alongside the typically innovative and meticulous mechanics, Breguet's art lay in decoration. Here the dial is exposed much like a pocket watch to showcase the Tourbillon at work while a 41mm Platinum case creates a thoroughly modern representation of Montres Breguet.
