For 2023, the fan favourite Cartier Tank Francaise has been reimagined.

The distinctive Tank shape and integrated bracelet remain, hallmarks that have made the Tank Francaise model such a wonderful option within the Tank de Cartier family. This updated design carries a slightly squarer case with a more substantial bracelet.

A new dial is offered with a grey sunburst base and applied grey Roman Numerals that both lift off the dial and catch the light beautifully. Oven fired blued hands ensure the Cartier DNA is unbroken.

Both small and medium Cartier Tank Francaise options are eleganrtly time only, while the large model Cartier Tank Francaise is powered by an automatic movement with a useful date window.

Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was presented as a gift to General Pershing some years before the watch was introduced into the market in 1919. The lugs blend seamlessly into the bare edges of the flat vertical brancards, giving the watch its unique aesthetic.
