Breguet’s Tradition family is a visual feast across the board, offering motion and details that immediately draw the eye whilst keeping that attention with an extraordinary level of finishing as one would expect from Breguet.
Breguet watches was one of the first to incorporate a level of flourish into his watchmaking. The new Tradition model stays true to his inspiration.
The latest complication to be added to this collection is a date, which one would almost expect would be the first thing to be delivered but in typical Breguet fashion, the date has to be visually exciting.
A retrograde sapphire disc, this time in a blued fashion carries the date across the bottom of the “dial,” while to not disturb the movement architecture, the hand denoting the date can actually been seen to have a slight kink to it, elevating it above the nearest wheel.
All this cleverness aside, the real show of force is the new blue dial. When viewed from the side, the actual dial disc is a solid piece of metal. The entire plate is blued, while the applied numerals appear even more striking in this inverted silver on blue colourway. The guilloche patterning also appears that much deeper and darker in the blue.
Housed in 18ct white gold, powered by a self winding movement with 50 hours power reserve once fully charged, the barrelled case and straight lugs carry all the recognisable hallmarks of a Breguet timepiece. Retailing at £33,600.00, we are due to receive this into stock very soon.
