It took until 1943 for Cartier to incorporate a round wristwatch into their collection. This first watch inspired the Pasha De Cartier collection many years later. The collection officially launched in 1985 and featured solid golds and the usually luxury known from the brand, but with a sporty edge. It has developed since then into a collection that delivers everything, beauty, class and sophistication.

The style has been woven into a number of collections from the brand, and the Tank Must de Cartier collection is one that has been adorned by many fans over the years and was named after the brand’s founding father.
The Cartier Tank Must Large Model is exquisite, with its stainless steel casing set with 42 brilliant-cut diamonds, dial featuring the iconic blue-steel sword-shaped hands, beaded crown set with a cabochon-shaped spinel, and black brushed calfskin strap. Tank Américaine Small
We couldn’t highlight just one Cartier Tank watch when picking out our favourites, so we selected one from each of the four Tank variations. Cartier Tank Américaine watches have a curvier case that hugs the wrist more than other Tank models, alongside a longer dial in a thinner case. The Cartier Tank Francaise collection is perhaps the most famous collection of them all and makes for a perfect coming of age watch or the first of your collection of luxury watches. Clé De Cartier 31mm
Soft curves, clean lines and a rounded profile, the Clé De Cartier collection is simply outstanding, and you will find the perfect model for you in this collection. Cartier Panthére Medium
With inspiration dating right back to the 1930’s, Cartier Panthére watches were officially launched in the early 1980s, mirroring the art scene of the time and taking its name from the wild animal who’s strap, it is said, to reflect the movements of. The collection is fully designed for women, with elegant lines and a variety of options from stainless steel to white gold encrusted with diamonds. It’s hard to choose a favourite from the collection, but we love the Panthére De Cartier Medium Model in Rose Gold and Silver set with brilliant-cut diamonds and synthetic blue spinel. The effect that the mix of rose gold and silver has on the band is simply beautiful.
Ronde de Cartier
With the classic design elements of the very first Cartier collections delivered in a rounded case, the Ronde de Cartier collection offers something for every style. This collection has a bit more of a sportier style and again provides the perfect introduction to the luxury found from Cartier. The Ronde Must de Cartier 29mm is a personal, understated favourite of ours with its stainless steel case, black leather strap and synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel beaded crown. It has a water resistance of up to 30m and a sapphire crystal face, making it perfect for everyday wear.
Santos De Cartier Medium Model
The Santos De Cartier Medium stainless steel, diamond bezel model, is simply beautiful and brilliantly practical. The Santos De Cartier was the very first model of the Cartier watch, designed for the Brazilian Aviator Alberto Santos Dumont in order for him to tell the time while flying. The large roman numerals make this possible, whilst the rounded angles of the dial, cure of the horns and the exposed screws make the model stand out. The 35.1mm case features 206 brilliant-cut diamonds, and the stainless steel band features the brand’s “smartlink” adjustment system, so it sits comfortably on any wrist. However, there is a second bracelet style band in calfskin should you want a different look for your day.
